Mars, Incorporated is the manufacturer of the British confectionery Maltesers. They were initially marketed to ladies when they were first offered for sale in the UK in 1937. A spheroid malted milk core coated with milk chocolate makes up a Malteser. Maltesers come in a range of packaging, including larger cardboard boxes and tubes, plastic buckets (which range in size from medium to very large), and plastic bags (which range in size from tiny 'fun-size' upwards). Medium-sized "teasers" are also available in Celebrations boxes. Mars's Revels line of chocolate also includes Maltesers. Treasure Orbit Group is amongst the suppliers of Maltesers in the UAE.
